About Me

Hi! I’m Joella, the owner of Faithful Paws Pet Services. I’ve loved to be around animals since I was a very young child- starting with my first cat, Whiskers, who I called my best friend at age 3. I’ve been volunteering at animal shelters for over 10 years, and hobby sitting for family and friends for even longer. I started my shelter journey at the county shelter in San Martin, where I walked dogs. Eventually, I was asked by the supervisor to become the Volunteer Dog Evaluation Coordinator. I’m currently a Canine Evaluation Assistant (rainbow) volunteer at Humane Society Silicon Valley. I focus on dogs needing a bit of extra time and attention to become adoptable- such as fearful dogs unable to be handled, or large rowdy dogs who are reactive on leash.

 

It is no small thing to be entrusted with the care of your beloved pets, and I am grateful for the opportunity. I can’t wait to meet you and your Faithful Paws!
